Capabilities & Background
We have considerable capabilities and experience in the development of flight, ground, and training systems. We have experience with embedded systems for both flight and ground applications that have used using both traditional and cutting-edge hardware and software technologies. We have also developed mission-critical software applications for space systems and have worked with wireless technologies.
Our space systems development efforts include:
- Flight Data Systems:
- Developed the end-to-end data system architecture for the Space Station Biological Research Project (SSBRP).
- Developed software for crew laptops on the International Space Station.
- Developed software for the passive dosimeter to measure radiation levels on the Interntational Space Station.
- Negotiated requirements with NASA centers, international partners, and contractors for SSBRP.
- Ground Data Systems:
- Responsible for the development of the NASA/Ames Research Center Telescience Support Center (TSC) to manage command, telemetry, and data for International Space Station payloads.
- Developed a reusable systems architecture that can support multiple missions.
- Trainer Systems - Astronaut Crew Training Simulators
- Developed crew trainers to simulate flight systems on the International Space Station.
- Tool for Automated Generation of Software to Handle Command and Telemetry Data
